Texoma Pest Management provides pest control services to school districts in North Texas and Southern Oklahoma. Recently, the Wichita Falls Independent School District asked us for a bid to begin inspecting their premises for pest infestations and other pest control issues. This was an excellent opportunity for our company to provide a service to our community schools.

According to Janet Powell, Director of Support, the school district selected Texoma Pest Management because of the affordable price. We provided an estimate consistent with the district’s needs. They also considered our experience serving other school districts as a factor. Consequently, our solid reputation preceded initial assessments.

The Wichita Falls Independent School District, one of the larger districts in the region, serves more than thirty campuses.  Initially the district reported infestations of roaches and rodents. Therefore, we initiated our three-step process, Assessment, Implementation, and Monitoring (AIM) on each campus.

Pest Management for School Safety

First, we thoroughly inspected the premises. After identifying the problem areas, we provided a treatment program to deal with the existing infestations. We then implemented a monthly treatment program to alleviate the pests.  Finally, we offered our monitoring service in order to prevent new pest issues. Our program proved to be successful.  Now every campus in the district thrives as a pest-free environment.

Each campus provides a happy greeting when we come to maintain their pest-free environment.  Our quality services make them glad to see us.  Occasionally, changes must be made to our preventative program.  However, because of our success rate, the schools readily agree to them.  What a wonderful relationship we get to maintain with each and every campus in the district.
